We've arrived

Hey Hey from sunny Verona,

Well, kind of

Hey Hey. Melbourne was awesome. Learnt heaps and set my mind off on the track of a PhD student. Mucked about in Melbourne for a few days afterwards waiting for my flight out - filled it with bouldering at the local boulder gym (yes, I did boulder with a Home and Away star, although I didn't let on I knew who he was - he would have thought I was a sad sad girl knowing who he was I'm sure! 10 guesses as to who it was....)

We're off

We are on our way. Emma is already halfway give or take C hours. She has been attending a conference in Melbourne for the last week. James catches her up in Melbourne on Wednesday and we arrive in Rome midday Italian time.

It has been all go though. ably helped by Scott from www.roughasguts.co.nz and Gavin and Joelene we moved out of the apartment in Napier over easter.

Now it is all go with living in the bus. a small problem with a cOF has held up departure to Auckland airport by a day but no worries. Eastern truck and marine sorted the problem this quick start this afternoon.

Italy Delayed

Well it seems not all happens as planned. Anyway our departure to Italy has been delayed a little bit and we will now be heading out at slightly different times. Emma leaves NZ on the 26th March and James the following week. So James will not be back in NZ during May - not April as first planned!

Heading to Italy

We have some news, Emma has been awarded a PhD scholarship which she is quite excited about. If any of you were planning on coming to visit us in the Hawkes Bay then you only have a very short time to do so, as we are moving to Italy.

Well it is not quite that simple, Emma is full time in Italy, James is going to commute, he quite enjoyed travelling to Palmie for a day each week so he is going to try commuting to Italy…. (one month there, one month here).
